Job Description:

As a Product Development Project Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of diverse product-related projects across various domains. This position reports to a Senior Manager.

About the Role

  • Lead the strategic coordination and delivery of product-related projects, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and objectives.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and monitor complex and diverse product-related projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and project deliverables and deadlines.
  • Engage with stakeholders to scope, prioritise, and resource projects effectively.
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across the product portfolio, implementing mitigation strategies and reporting mechanisms.
  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of project coordinators, ensuring consistent project delivery, progression according to schedules, risk management, and accurate reporting.
  • Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, documentation standards, and reporting tools to support transparency and accountability.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in project management practices, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
  • Provide advice on project management across all project stages and contribute to the development of proposals, reporting, and presentations to support new project initiatives and effective communication and outcomes.
  • Promote and model organisational values: teamwork, customer focus, responsibility, initiative, and safety.

  • Motivation and professionalism: high level of personal motivation and professionalism, with a proven ability to drive the development and implementation of quality products in a dynamic, challenging, and changing environment.
  • Technology utilisation: proficiency in leveraging new and emerging technologies to facilitate improvements in productivity and project outcomes.
