We're looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team.

About the Role:

This is an opportunity to provide expertise in electrical design for various projects, leading small to medium-sized design projects and ensuring best practice delivery while managing costs and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Electrical Design Expertise: Provide leadership on electrical design projects, focusing on aviation, resources or rail sectors.
  • Project Leadership: Lead engineering design projects and support larger projects for efficient delivery.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
  • Best Practices and Cost Optimization: Deliver optimal outcomes by achieving cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Business Unit Development: Contribute to the development of the business unit by supporting strategic goals and initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering;
  • High-level specialist expertise in electrical building services engineering and design documentation;
  • 6 to 10+ years' industry experience on Australian building services projects;
  • Well versed in delivering multiple concurrent projects across sectors like rail, resources, aviation;
  • Strong client relationship management and project management skills;
  • Capacity to lead, train and mentor junior engineers;
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Sound working knowledge of relevant Standards and Codes (AS/NZS 3000, NCC etc.);
  • Understanding of BIM, NavisWorks and Revit MEP.
