Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our dynamic team at GenesisCare Hurstville. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality radiation therapy services to patients. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the safe and effective administration of radiation therapy processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Personally undertake treatment responsibilities and associated duties.
  • Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the Centre and across the practice.
  • Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
  • Ensure that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure established patient care standards are maintained.
  • Liaise with members of the health care team in the planning and delivery of patient services.
  • Ensure patients are provided with relevant material and information relating to radiation therapy.
  • Be competent in Radiation Therapy, CT & treatment planning. Possibly rotations in all areas

Requirements

  • Demonstrated technical competence in treatment, including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques.
  • The ability to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environment.
  • Strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services Qualifications and Experience.
  • Bachelor degree as relevant (Radiation Therapy, Radiation Oncology Medical Physics, etc).
  • Registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.
