About Apprentice Boilermaker

The role of Apprentice Boilermaker offers an exciting opportunity to develop a range of skills in boiler making through formal and on-the-job learning activities.

Under close supervision, this position will assist in maintaining mechanical, water/wastewater assets to a high standard including repair, replacement, installation, design and manufacturing of plant and equipment, hand tools, lathes, grinding machinery, hydraulic presses, boring equipment and welding equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain mechanical, water/wastewater assets to a high standard.
  • Repair, replace, install, design and manufacture plant and equipment.
What We Are Looking For

In an ideal candidate, we are looking for someone with a strong willingness to be part of and promote a positive safety culture while adhering to all Health and Safety policies and procedures.

We also require:

  • Minimum completed Year 10 with passes in English and Mathematics.
  • Minimum Queensland C class provisional driver's licence (or ability to obtain).
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
