About the Role

As a skilled Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the development of software for mobile products on the Android platform.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality software that solves customer problems and coach others to do the same.
  • Design and perform sophisticated testing activities to reveal product quality and coach team members on high-quality testing.
  • Contribute to the engineering standards and frameworks, work closely with Lead and Principal Engineers, and proactively maintain, grow, and share knowledge of development technologies.
  • Deliver infrastructure in a production environment and champion automation of delivery processes.

Requirements

  • Critical competencies include advocating TDD and automated tooling, proficiency in CI/CD concepts and tooling, ability to make major code design decisions, and expertise in Android Studio IDE.
  • High coding standards, emphasis on testing, experience in developing secure, performant, and scalable software, and experience using agile methodologies.
