Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team at Perisher, the largest ski resort in the Southern Hemisphere. As a Mountain Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation and maintenance of all lifting systems, including chairlifts, surface lifts, and conveyors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance and repair of ski lifts, snowmaking plant, and associated equipment
  • Attend emergency breakdowns and callouts
  • Assist with electrical installation, modification, repairs, and testing on various assets
  • Repair, install, and maintain commercial and domestic appliances, data, telephones, television, and communication systems
  • Participate in the day-to-day maintenance and cleaning of department vehicles and plant
  • Report on and record work and events carried out or observed
Requirements
  • A Certificate III in Electrotechnology
  • Experience working in the alpine environment
  • A current Driver's Licence
  • Experience and confidence working at heights
