Senior Tax Consultant Opportunity

This role will provide an exciting opportunity to join our corporate tax team and work on a range of corporate clients, including leading ASX listed companies and large multinational inbound investors. As a Senior Tax Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering taxation services, providing advice on corporate tax matters, and assisting clients in meeting their corporate tax compliance obligations.

  • Deliver taxation services to allocated corporate clients, including income tax compliance and the preparation and review of income tax returns and tax accounting calculations.
  • Provide advisory services tailored to client needs, including ATO risk reviews, audits, and ruling application processes.
  • Collaborate with specialist teams to bring expertise to corporate clients in areas such as international tax and transfer pricing, tax controversy, and transactions.
  • Supervise junior team members, fostering their learning and contributing to a positive team culture that promotes high performance, collaboration, and celebrates successes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in Australian corporate income tax, ideally gained in a top-tier or mid-tier accounting firm or corporate business environment.
  • Developing client-facing skills with confidence to contribute to client meetings and build a network.
  • An ability to articulate complex technical information into succinct, well-informed recommendations.
