Job Summary

We are seeking an Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Varsity College Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service. As an OSHC Educator, you will be responsible for the care and education of primary school children before and after school, as well as during school holiday periods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Care for children in a fun and engaging environment, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development
  • Assist in planning and implementing educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of children
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to the YMCA's policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Degree or Certificate in Children's Services or related field
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Positive Notice Blue Card
  • Fantastic sense of fun and imagination

About the Location

Our service is located at The Varsity College Primary School, offering Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care services. We prioritize community and belonging, children's agency, and spontaneous play experiences.
