We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stores Supervisor to join our team at Alliance Airlines Rockhampton Aviation Maintenance facility. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of the Stores function, developing and monitoring provisioning processes, and maintaining effective relationships with vendors.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the performance of the Stores function, ensuring efficient and effective inventory management.
- Develop and monitor provisioning processes to meet upcoming requirements, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials.
- Maintain effective relationships with vendors, negotiating prices and ensuring high-quality products.
- Monitor supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Prepare reports as required by the Stores and Logistics Manager, providing insights into inventory levels, vendor performance, and other key metrics.
- Manage and oversee the performance of Store persons, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
- Ensure that health and safety responsibilities of workers are effectively communicated, assessing fulfillment of HSE responsibilities and key HSE expectations.
- Ensure workers are trained in and follow policies, procedures, and safe systems of work, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
- Develop and regularly review safe work procedures for high-risk tasks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Hold a valid driver's license and forklift license (LF), with supply chain or logistics certification desirable.
- Have management experience in a regulated industry such as aviation, although not required.
- Commit to safety and a JUST culture, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
