Cornerstone Medical Recruitment is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join their dynamic team at a reputable dermatology clinic in Newcastle.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for patient care and a strong clinical background in dermatology or a related field. In this role, you will work closely with patients, dermatologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care and support.

Job Summary
  • Provide high-quality patient care and ensure confidentiality and patient trust.
  • Assist in surgical procedures, administer local anesthetic injections, remove sutures, and provide wound care.
  • Specialized treatments: assist with cosmetic injectables (e.g., anti-wrinkle injections), allergy patch testing, UVB phototherapy, photodynamic therapy, and manage laser and light treatments.
  • Patient education: educate patients on their treatment plans, skincare routines, and post-procedure care.
  • Equipment management: maintain and sterilize equipment, monitor stock, and manage medical supplies.
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Medical Practice.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
