We are seeking a skilled software engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of a cloud-based container registry. As a member of our team, you will work with various Azure technologies to build and maintain this massively scalable cloud service.
Your primary responsibilities will include designing, building, and validating various components needed to maintain, scale, and make the Azure Container Registry the best choice for storing images for container workloads.
You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from building and maintaining the registry to ensuring its security and reliability. Our team is dedicated to providing excellent customer service and supporting our customers' needs in all aspects of our products and services.
In addition to your technical skills, we value strong communication and collaboration skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive project plans, release plans, and work items forward.

- Design and develop high-quality software components using various programming languages, including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements for a scenario and develop design documents for a product, application, service, or platform.
- Create testable code and push for quality investments throughout the design, implementation, and monitoring phases.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- OR equivalent experience.
- Solid understanding of cloud development principles and patterns, data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across several teams, problem-solving skills with ability to quickly adapt to new technology and go deep.
- 2+ years minimum experience with workload/container orchestration using Kubernetes or similar platforms.
- 1+ years experience with container runtimes such as Docker, Rkt, runC, containers and how they are enabled by the underlying OS components.
