About the Role

Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company operating across Australia and New Zealand. We have multiple opportunities for experienced Fitness Centre Team Members within our Defence Base Services contract at various locations.

Job Overview

This is a casual position offering $31.03 per hour, providing flexible working hours, full on-the-job training, and access to Ventia's staff discount scheme. The role involves general fitness centre management, administration, and ensuring gym users adhere to site-specific orders and instructions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and administer fitness centre operations in accordance with legislative requirements
  • Oversee emergency action plans and ensure adherence to safety protocols
  • Conduct regular equipment checks and maintain high standards of cleanliness and maintenance
  • Supervise members attending the fitness centre and enforce rules and regulations
Requirements
  • Safety-focused mindset with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and autonomously
  • Able to obtain and hold a valid Australian driving license
  • CPR certification
  • A passion for fitness and customer service
