Senior Engineering Leader

Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Engineering Leader to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-performing team of engineers in building and maintaining cutting-edge data platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive innovation and excellence within the team.

This role will be responsible for leading a team of platform engineers who utilize AWS services (EMR, Redshift, Glue, Athena among others) to build scalable and sustainable long-term solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Familiarity with object-oriented languages and databases
  • Prior experience of working with Data Lakes, warehouses, and data processing tools, having done large-scale data migrations before
  • Streaming services like Kafka and having built data products before
  • Expertise in leading and driving teams of platform engineers utilizing AWS services highly desirable
  • Promote DevSecOps mindset within your chapter supported by world-class tools
