Join our team of experts in Sydney and take on a challenging role that will put your skills to the test. As an Insolvency and Restructuring Manager, you will be responsible for managing complex restructuring processes and providing expert advice to clients.

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a strong background in accounting and finance. Your expertise will be essential in helping clients navigate corporate distress, voluntary liquidations, restructurings, and administrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver restructuring and insolvency strategies, overseeing an engagement team and managing multiple workstreams
  • Analyse and understand the performance and position of clients' businesses
  • Manage day-to-day issues on formal restructuring engagements, including trade-on management, receipts, and payments, and assist in stakeholder communication
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other written correspondence
  • Conduct financial analysis and prepare estimated outcome positions for legal restructuring matters
  • Be a key member involved in various business development initiatives
  • Contribute to your learning and development, and that of our team through coaching and mentoring

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of managing professional restructuring cases
  • Tertiary qualifications in an accounting or finance-related field
  • CA qualified or the equivalent
  • Driven to deliver high-quality client service
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Financial solid analytical and quantitative skills
  • Knowledge of fundamental accounting and business/commercial principles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
