We are seeking a skilled and compassionate nursing assistant to provide high-quality home care services in Melbourne.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to make a positive impact in the lives of others. As a dedicated nursing assistant, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to clients during weekday shifts from Monday to Sunday.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation considering individual dietary needs.
- Provide support with dressing and personal care tasks.
- Assist with mobility and light exercises.
- Monitor medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Support in household activities and light cleaning.
- Foster companionship and engage in meaningful conversations.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in home care or aged care facilities is highly valued.
- Availability for regular shifts Monday to Sunday is essential.
- Proficiency in food preparation, dressing assistance, and mobility support is required.
- Maintaining accurate records of medication use and nutrition is crucial.
- Ability to assist with light household tasks is necessary.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated individuals who want to improve the lives of others are ideal candidates.
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.
- Certificate 3 in Individual Support or Disability (minimum 120 hours placement) is mandatory.
