About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team at Frontline Recruitment Group. As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a crucial role in taking our business to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement tendering procedures in conjunction with senior management.
  • Review and analyse project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide reports of project estimates and budgets.
  • Meet client deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Liaise with clients and internal project teams.
  • Leverage existing contacts and build new relationships.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of estimating experience in the electrical contracting Industry.
  • Must have an electrical background.
  • First principle estimating experience.
  • Experience estimating projects up to and more than $5M.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent time management skills, working efficiently and independently, and remaining calm under pressure.
  • Be able to consult with clients regarding tenders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software.
  • Ability to read and interpret project drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Electrical Australian Standards and Building Codes.
