About the Role

This Enrolled or Registered Nurse position comes with HR responsibilities, where you will blend your clinical expertise with human resources skills to manage our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care as required
  • Analyze and interpret Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBAs), Awards, and contracts
  • Lead recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding for new staff members
  • Conduct performance appraisals and contribute to employee development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with certifications and training requirements for all employees
  • Maintain accurate HR documentation, including employment contracts and records
  • Promote a safe work environment by ensuring adherence to workplace health and safety standards
  • Address HR-related inquiries from both staff and management levels
  • Collaborate with payroll and rostering teams to ensure compliance with EBA and Award regulations

Requirements:

  • Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse with AHPRA (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge of EBAs, Awards, and contract management principles
  • Experience in recruitment, performance management, and HR compliance within the healthcare industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple responsibilities
  • HR experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous but not essential
