About this role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive individual to join our maintenance team. As a Handy Person, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our equipment and facilities.

Your main duties will include routine and preventative maintenance tasks, such as performing repairs and carrying out general maintenance work.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in general maintenance and repair, with a good understanding of maintenance procedures. Experience working in a hospitality environment would be advantageous.

You should also have excellent communication skills, as you will be interacting with colleagues and guests on a regular basis.

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in general maintenance and/or repair
  • A good all-round knowledge of maintenance procedures
  • Experience in areas such as air conditioning, door lock systems, painting, tiling, plumbing and furniture repairs would be beneficial
  • Licence to work in Australia without restriction
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
