Heavy Lifting Operations Rigger

We are seeking an experienced Rigger to join our maintenance crew at FMG Christmas Creek.

This is a permanent, salary-based position working on a 2:1 FIFO roster from Perth. You'll be supporting a range of maintenance activities, working with our fleet that includes various cranes and machinery. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic team delivering high-quality work in a well-supported environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mobilising and demobilising assigned equipment in the appropriate configuration.
  • Guide crane operators using standard hand signals and two-way radio communication.
  • Safely positioning and repositioning loads as required.
  • Performing routine and preventative maintenance to maintain peak equipment performance.
  • Ensuring all tasks are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • Local Perth resident - FIFO from Perth Airport only.
  • Minimum two years' experience rigging in heavy lifting operations.
  • High Risk Work License - RI minimum.
  • Working at Heights (within two years).
  • Valid Full Australian Driver's License.
  • Forklift ticket - Desirable.
  • Experience in Shutdowns and Maintenance based work is a must.
