Tamworth Nursing Assistant

The RoleWe are seeking skilled and knowledgeable Care Support Workers to join our team in Tamworth. As a Care Support Worker, you will provide emotional support and assistance with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility assistance. You will work closely with our clients to ensure their safety and comfort, and provide a safe and supportive environment for them to thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as personal care and meal preparation
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Ensure clients arrive to appointments on time and provide transportation as needed
- Implement interventions as per client care plans
- Document client interactions and progress in cloud-based software
- Assist with medication administration and other healthcare tasks
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met
- Provide domestic assistance and maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Qualification in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Health Services Assistance
- Current Working with Children's Check
- Police Check
- Current NDIS Worker screening check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Evidence of current flu vaccination
- Evidence of 3x Covid vaccinations
- Experienced in working within facility and/or community environment
- Australian Citizen or have full working rights in Australia
- Excellent communication skills
- Continuing support within our team environment
