Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tech Field Engineer to provide technical support and install IT, Network and Communications systems both domestically and internationally. Key responsibilities include reviewing and maintaining installation documentation of various ICT systems and performing additional duties as required.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and install client's IT, Network and Communications systems.
  • Review and maintain installation documentation of various ICT systems.
  • Perform additional duties as required in relation to ICT technical installations and support.
  • Possess the ability to work under limited supervision individually or in a team environment.
  • Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and showcase sound lateral thinking to investigate and solve undocumented problems.

Key Qualifications:

  • Formal qualifications or relevant industry experience in Complex ICT Systems, Desktop Support, Printer Support, UPS Support, Physical Network and Server infrastructure.
  • Ability to travel domestically for both scheduled and unscheduled site visits.
  • Proven experience in a Technical support environment performing fault investigation, triaging, and resolution.

Desirable Skills:

  • Logical Network - working knowledge of network routing and switching, including core concepts such as DHCP, subnetting, VLANs.
  • Open Cabling Registration with Optical, Coaxial and Structured Cabling endorsements.
  • Senior First Aid.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Must be an Australian Citizen.
  • This role requires a mandatory NV2 security clearance.
