Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Hospital Pharmacy Technician to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient procurement and supply of medicines. The ideal candidate will have strong inventory management skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.

This is a full-time ongoing position with tax-effective salary packaging and a short walk to the CBD.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and maintaining inventory systems to ensure compliance with legislative and purchasing agreement requirements. They will also assist with the distribution and dispensing of medicines, support the provision of clinical pharmacy services, and contribute to the manufacturing (sterile and non-sterile) process.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate IV in Hospital-Health Services Pharmacy Support or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in an Australian hospital pharmacy setting.
  • Previous experience in inventory management is essential.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Well-developed computer literacy and Microsoft Office ability.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
