About the role

Our First Choice Liquor Market team is looking for a skilled Liquor Sales Associate to join our team. As a Liquor Sales Associate, you will be the face of our store, engaging with customers and providing exceptional customer service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service by answering customer queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales targets and provide a positive shopping experience for customers
  • Develop a strong knowledge of our liquor products, including wine, beer, and spirits, to effectively advise customers on their purchases
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card and EFTPOS payments
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to health and safety standards

About you:

  • You have a passion for the liquor industry and a strong desire to learn and grow with our team
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
  • You are a team player, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • You have a strong work ethic and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • You hold a current accredited Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification
