Southern Cross Care NSW & ACT is a leading not-for-profit aged care provider with a long history of delivering exceptional care and support to older people.
We are currently seeking an experienced Retirement Living Sales Professional to lead our sales and community engagement efforts for new retirement living villages in Epping and Bateau Bay. This is a 6-month, full-time, fixed-term contract opportunity that will play a pivotal role in driving sales performance, fostering community relationships, and enhancing the overall resident experience.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving and maintaining full occupancy across all retirement living sites by developing and implementing effective sales strategies. They will also lead sales and exceed targets, monitor performance metrics, and provide regular reports to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve full occupancy across all retirement living sites
- Lead sales teams and exceed targets, monitoring performance metrics and providing regular reports to senior management
- Build and sustain strong relationships with local communities and stakeholders, including organising and participating in community events to promote the facilities
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through personalized sales approaches and promptly addressing any resident or family concerns
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and utilize digital marketing tools to enhance visibility
- Assist Village Managers and Village Liaison Officers in meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Provide ongoing competitive analysis for projects and produce recommendations for all new products
- Responsible for the real estate marketing aspects of the role, including strategies to optimise unit sales and occupancy
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 5 years proven sales experience, preferably in the retirement living/aged care sector
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales management tools
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proactive and results-driven approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including local communities and stakeholders
- Knowledge of the retirement living market and regulatory environment (desirable)
