About the Role
The ARF/RhD Clinical Nurse will play a critical role in supporting Central Australian Aboriginal Congress to increase our workforce capacity to implement ARF and RHD strategies that are culturally responsive, evidence-based, and sustainable. This position will be responsible for embedding standardized processes for ARF/RHD management, including staff training, prevention activities, clinical care, and care coordination of people living with RhD. The successful candidate will have a large clinical component to their role and will work closely with the RhD Program Coordinator within the Public Health Division.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ARF/RHD management plans
- Provide clinical care and support to people living with RhD
- Coordinate care and services for people living with RhD
- Conduct staff training and education on ARF/RHD management
- Collaborate with the RhD Program Coordinator to develop and implement ARF/RHD strategies
