Job Overview

The UNSW Australia is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Industry Liaison to lead the industry engagement efforts for the Full-Time MBA program.

About the Role

  • This role will serve as a central point of contact for Full-Time MBA students, providing regular check-ins, networking support, and recruitment guidance throughout their career development journeys.
  • You will design and implement a strategy to source suitable internships, projects, mentors, and job opportunities for each student individually, while case managing students throughout their studies.
  • A key focus of this role will be to develop and manage external relationships with corporate stakeholders, professional recruiting partners, and other organisations to assess hiring needs and cultivate market trends.
  • Additionally, you will lead virtual and on-campus industry events for an MBA audience in collaboration with the Operations Team, ensuring optimal representation of major recruiting organisations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a formal professional networking introduction system to connect AGSM students with alumni within Australia and internationally.
  • Effectively engage with AGSM Alumni to ensure high participation in all events and encourage alumni to identify regional, national, and global employment, internship, and project opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with the Career Education Team and within the Engagement Team on industry-facing initiatives, communications, and campaigns.
  • Manage records of engagement with students and industry stakeholders on relevant platforms.

Requirements

  • You will have experience in industry engagement, career development, and stakeholder management, with a strong network of contacts within the corporate sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • You will have a strong understanding of market trends and be able to develop and implement effective strategies to achieve business objectives.

What We Offer

  • Remuneration Level 8: $123,044 - $138,637 plus superannuation.
  • Employment Type: Full Time, Fixed Term to March 2026 (35-hour week).
  • Location: Kensington, NSW (the successful candidate is required to work minimum 3 days on campus).
