The Senior Rocket Engine Hardware Production Leader is responsible for spearheading a team of skilled technicians in the manufacture of intricate rocket engine components. This role demands exceptional leadership prowess, technical expertise, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Lead a team of up to 120 technicians across two shifts, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes innovation and productivity.
- Oversee the modification, repair, assembly, and integration of production assemblies to meet stringent quality and delivery targets, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Maintain a safety-focused mindset at all times, addressing recurring non-conformance issues proactively to minimize risks.
- Review work instructions and recommend adjustments as needed to optimize efficiency and streamline processes.
- Elevate production rates through strategic planning, effective resource allocation, and data-driven decision making to achieve high-rate production goals.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree with 4+ years of experience in gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), or gas metal arc welding (GMAW) combined with 3+ years of management experience.
