We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Arcare Slacks Creek. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality medical care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical care, including assessing residents' health conditions, monitoring vital signs, and managing medications and treatments.
- Manage and dress wounds, prevent infections, and promote proper wound healing.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on residents' specific needs and medical conditions.
- Conduct thorough health assessments, maintain accurate medical records, and document changes in residents' health conditions on eCase.
- Address pain concerns and implement pain management strategies.
- Be prepared to handle medical emergencies and coordinate the response as necessary.
- Provide comfort and support during end-of-life care, including palliative care.
- Current AHPRA Registration.
- Knowledge of Aged Care accreditation standards.
- Adaptable, passionate, and willingness to learn.
- Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
