Role Summary

The Guest Relations Officer is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences in the Executive Lounge. This role requires a warm and welcoming demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare the Executive Lounge for service, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Greet guests warmly and bid farewell upon departure, providing a personalized touch.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Replenish food and beverage items, maintaining a high level of quality and presentation.
  • Complete food and beverage requisitions for the next day's delivery, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Restock, refill, and clear counters and tables, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Maintain positive inter-departmental relationships, fostering a collaborative team culture.
  • Abide by NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol guidelines when serving guests.
  • Provide exceptional service to each guest, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Inspect and maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the Executive Lounge, including temperature, lighting, and music.
  • Clear dirty table settings and sanitize for the next seating, maintaining a high level of hygiene.
  • Communicate VIP arrivals to designated personnel, ensuring a smooth and personalized experience.

  • Australian Working Rights, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Uniform and personal appearance must be clean and professional, reflecting the Marriott International brand.
  • Respond to special requests from guests with unique needs, providing a personalized experience.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality and protecting company assets.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language, answering telephones with appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, supporting the team to reach common goals.
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards, identifying and recommending new ideas to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period, moving, lifting, and carrying objects weighing up to 10-15kg without assistance.
