Job Summary:

An experienced Mine Geologist is sought to join the team at Rock People Pty Ltd. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you will be responsible for managing grade control systems, providing geological input to production, and assisting with development & material mark-up.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Management of grade control systems
  • Providing geological input to production
  • Pit Mapping and continued improvement of ore body knowledge
  • Assist with development & material mark-up
  • Monthly mine reconciliations
  • Management of ROM and stockpile systems
  • Mentoring geo-technicians

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualified geologist with a solid background in opencut production within hardrock operations
  • Proficiency in Deswik advantageous
  • Valid Australian work rights
  • Currently reside in Australia or have a confirmed arrival date

Location:
FIFO 8/6 TSV or Cairns, or on a residential basis in Cloncurry.
