Job Overview

A sport development coach specialist is required to develop and implement a holistic approach to contemporary sports science and associated principles in our performance development program.

The primary purpose of this role is to lead the use of various technology and software relevant to data collection, analysis, and presentation across all sports programs from Year 5-12 inclusive.

This includes creating technical arms and associated platforms for our athletic performance development program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic designs and implementations of technology use models within the performance development program.
  • Create systems and processes for the use of all sports science related technology.
  • Collaborate with head of HPE to align syllabus and technology use in the newly established sports science precinct.
  • Assist in tracking sports science weight room attendance and provide regular overviews to heads of programs regarding engagement.
  • Develop key displays and dashboards around outstanding testing achievements.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in exercise or sport science.
  • Current blue card or ability to obtain.
  • First aid/CPR.
  • Proven expertise in the collection and analysis of physical testing data to inform heads of programs.
  • Proven expertise in the utilisation of ICT and software to support head coaches across any program.
