Chief Data Scientist Lead

This is an exciting opportunity to drive our team's technical and professional development as a hands-on leader.
You will play a critical role in shaping our enterprise-wide AI strategy, working closely with senior leadership to identify and prioritize opportunities across various business domains.
Mature our data science practice alongside a cloud native transformation while leading an incredibly talented team that influences global initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Build, mentor, and coach a team of data scientists.
- Actively contribute to our global enterprise AI strategy.
- Own the technical direction for the Data Science chapter.
- Work closely with other Data and Analytics functions to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Communicate the value of data science and AI to senior executives and stakeholders.
- Strategically influence outcomes and foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated record of building, mentoring, and developing data science teams.
- 10+ yrs of experience with a solid understanding of data science industry best practices.
- Ability to understand business drivers and align technical strategy to achieve them.
- Extensive experience of working effectively with other Data & Analytics, Product, and Technology functions.
- Proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Strong experience working in agile chapters and matrixed environments.
- Passion for continuous improvement and curiosity.
