Job Overview

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Monitor in Alice Springs, Australia. As a Security Monitor, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of contractors and visitors to the site with restricted access.

Key Responsibilities

  • Control and monitor assigned personnel and visitors to the site
  • Prevent unauthorized access to sensitive materials and areas
  • Operate a hand-held radio system to communicate with stakeholders
  • Enforce security protocols and procedures
  • Prevent the removal or theft of facility items
  • Work in extreme weather conditions
  • Perform duties that require prolonged standing, sitting, and/or walking, climbing stairs
  • Assist employees in areas such as Cleaning, Food Services, and Trades when needed
  • Perform other duties as required by Security Management

Requirements

  • Australian citizenship and a Secret clearance or an NV1 clearance
  • Ability to follow and comply with policy and procedures
  • Demonstrated capacity to be flexible and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Commitment to complete tasks and follow through
  • Ability to work professionally and independently with minimal supervision
  • Maintain a high level of security and safety consciousness
  • Ability to complete White Card Training (Construction Induction)
  • Understanding and commitment to the principles of Security and Safety

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous security experience
