This position is responsible for the efficient coordination and supervision of all warehouse activities. Key objectives include ensuring compliance with safety and environmental procedures, supervising warehouse staff, utilizing a Warehouse Management System to optimize performance, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and tidy workspace.

  • Safety: Be a Woodhouse Timber Safety Champion, ensure adherence to safety regulations and legislative requirements, promote total job safety and environmental awareness, and act diligently to complete risk assessments.
  • Management & Planning: Support and direct activities, organize and coordinate warehouse activities, provide constant support and direction to personnel, create and maintain a positive working environment, and hold self and staff accountable.
  • Operational: Oversee, coordinate, and complete monthly responsibilities of the Safety Team, Inventory Team, and other duties as required.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 3 years experience within a leadership role in a warehouse environment;
  • Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management;
  • Possess a Forklift licence;
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure;
  • Previous Warehouse and pick and packing experience;
