Job Opportunity: Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

A highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Specialist is required to oversee the maintenance of factory equipment in our Wodonga facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize analytical and creative techniques to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
  • Effectively communicate complex problems to ensure understanding and compliance.
  • Respond promptly to urgent requests for assistance from production associates.
  • Maintain high-level communication with stakeholders regarding equipment condition and job progress.
  • Provide technical support and cover shifts as needed to support shift teams.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering (Trade) in Fitting and Turning or higher qualification.
  • Previous maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment (FMCG, food production or similar).
  • Strong mechanical fault finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and maintain open communication.
  • Capacity to identify root causes and implement continuous improvements to site safety, product quality, and operational efficiency.
