Administrative Support Officer

The SA Health Administration Casual Pool seeks a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Officer to provide a high-quality, confidential, customer-focused administrative service to clients, staff, and visitors of the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide a reception service and contribute to the provision of a high-quality, confidential, customer-focused administrative service to clients, staff, and visitors of the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network.
• Admission and discharge of patients and preparation and running of patient/client information reports.
• Word processing, data entry, and medical record administrative services.
• Provision of clerical and administrative support.
Requirements
• Prior experience in providing a range of clerical and administrative support services.
• Proven skills in the preparation of medical case notes and working within a reception and medical records department.
• Sound knowledge of office systems and procedures, including proficiency in word processing packages and data entry.
• A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal abilities and the ability to interact with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and demonstrating courtesy, discretion, and sensitivity in dealing with telephone and personal enquiries.
Working Arrangements
The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working part-time.
Appointment
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
