We are seeking a skilled Cake Decorator to join our team at Costco North Lakes - Brisbane. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing cakes and pastries that meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Check cake order stands for special orders and ensure accurate fulfillment.
- Pull stock from freezers and coolers to maintain a well-stocked merchandising area.
- De-pan, garnish, and package baked cheesecakes, seasonal pies, and fruit tarts, and place finished products on racks for display.
- Review production schedules to meet daily needs and process cakes according to assembly instructions in our Cake Decorating Manual.
- Assist with other bakery duties as needed, including front-end tasks and support in other warehouse departments.
- Provide exceptional member service and maintain a clean and organized decorating area.
- Follow safety and security procedures, as well as SSOP guidelines for equipment cleaning and sanitation.
- Complete and comply with quality assurance and food safety certifications, as well as all required safety training.
- High School Certificate or Higher
- Food safety certification preferred
- Experience in cake decorating or a comparable field
