About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Technology Risk and Controls Analyst to join our team. This role will involve working closely with our Technology, Risk and Compliance, and Business teams to understand and validate key technology risks and controls.
The successful candidate will work alongside our Senior Technology Risk and Controls Specialist to assess risks, controls, and perform control design and operating effectiveness assessments. Together, they will design and implement a cyber security controls assurance program aligned to industry good practices, company security policies, and external obligations (including ISO27001 and PCI-DSS) to effectively manage our technology and cyber security related risks.

Responsibilities include:
- Working with technology and risk/compliance stakeholders to refine and maintain the Technology Key Risk and Controls register.
- Agreeing and reporting emerging risks or control gaps, and supporting the development and prioritization of remediation plans. Ensuring recommendations are well considered and consider risk and commercial outcomes.
- Assisting with management reporting and metrics on the risk and control landscape, including reporting on progress of key risk reduction initiatives.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 3 years of experience in Technology Risk Management, Cybersecurity, or Technology related internal/external audit.
- A solid understanding of IT General Controls and good practices for IT risk assessment and control assurance programs.
- Proven experience in technology controls assurance (e.g., advisory, internal or external audit roles).
- Knowledge of industry good practice such as ITIL, COBIT, ISO27001, CSF or PCI-DSS is beneficial.
