About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance Lawyer to join our dynamic General Insurance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to take their career to the next level in a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Job Description

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive legal advice across various insurance matters, including general liability, property, construction, Directors & Officers (D&O), professional indemnity, and medical negligence. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert legal advice to clients on a wide range of insurance matters.
  • Managing a high volume of matters with a focus on client service and results.
  • Engaging in business development activities to strengthen client relationships.
  • Ensuring efficient, responsive service for insurers, self-insurers, statutory authorities, and corporate clients across Australia.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A minimum of 3+ years post-admission experience in General Insurance.
  • Strong commercial awareness and technical expertise in insurance law.
  • A proactive approach, capable of managing cases independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent client management skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
  • A collaborative work ethic with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle a high volume of cases with precision.
