Job Description:The Livestock Career Development Program offers a unique opportunity for individuals to gain valuable experience and skills in the livestock industry. This 24-month program is designed for top talent who are eager to learn and succeed in this dynamic field.
About the ProgramBased at our Wagga Wagga branch, participants will have the chance to work in both saleyard and branch environments. They will be mentored and guided by experienced livestock employees and leaders, gaining hands-on experience and developing their skills.
What to Expect- Accelerated learning opportunities to kick start your career within Livestock
- Professional networking opportunities to allow you to socialize with your peers and leaders across the business
- Placement mobility once the 24-month program concludes
- Livestock skills – next generation stock and station agency skills, livestock productivity, animal health and nutrition, Auctions Plus, auctioneering, wool technical and market requirements and emerging technology
- Strong desire to learn and succeed in the Livestock industry
- Excellent customer service skills and strong negotiation abilities
- Successful completion of Year 12
- Worked successfully for a minimum of 24 months within the Agricultural industry, ideally within Livestock
Upon successful completion of the program, participants will have gained valuable skills and experience, making them highly attractive to potential employers. They will also have developed a network of contacts and connections within the industry, providing them with opportunities for future growth and development.
