Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team as a Health and Physical Education Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher to share their expertise with students in years 7-10 and contribute to promoting excellence in Health and Physical Education.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to design and deliver engaging units of work, demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in the classroom, and possess excellent organisational and planning skills.

This role involves teaching Health and Physical Education to students in years 7-10, supporting and promoting excellence in the subject area, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals.

About the Role

  • Main Responsibilities:

  • Teach Health and Physical Education to students in years 7-10

  • Support and promote excellence in Health and Physical Education

  • Design and deliver differentiated units of work

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals

  • Effectively manage a Pastoral Care Group (PCG)

Key Qualifications:

  • Essential Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in a specific discipline

  • Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary) or Bachelor of Education
