Procurement and Vendor Management Leader

This role presents a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the organization's technology procurement and vendor management strategy. As a Procurement and Vendor Management Leader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing category plans, sourcing strategies, and negotiation initiatives to optimize supply and reduce risk.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing external vendor relations, including performance monitoring, governance, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). They will also possess strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

This role offers a high degree of autonomy and flexibility, with plenty of opportunities for variety and end-to-end visibility. You will be part of a close-knit team that values collaboration and innovation, and will have the chance to contribute to the development of commercial outcomes that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement category plans, sourcing strategies, and negotiation initiatives to optimize supply and reduce risk.
  • Manage external vendor relations, including performance monitoring, governance, and adherence to SLAs.
  • Work effectively with internal stakeholders to develop and implement procurement and vendor management processes and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of commercial outcomes that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.


About the Role:

This is a critical role within the organization, requiring a high degree of expertise and knowledge in procurement and vendor management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering tangible commercial results and will be able to think strategically about how to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled procurement and vendor management professional who can bring their expertise and knowledge to this critical role. The ideal candidate will have:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement and vendor management, preferably in a large organization with complex environments.
  • Extensive experience managing external vendor relations, including performance monitoring, governance, and adherence to SLAs.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • A proven track record of delivering tangible commercial results.
  • Knowledge of procurement and vendor management best practices and industry standards.
