We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team as embedded members with our prestigious Government client.

The Department is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Data Analyst to work on and support the Connected Information Environment (CIE) Sustainment (DB2) project.

About the RoleJob Description

This role involves providing analytical work that is customer focused.

Key responsibilities include discovering trends, patterns and stories told by the data, structured and unstructured, and presenting them to stakeholders.

Leveraging new open data sources and extracting further value from existing data is also a key aspect of this role.

The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to clean and prune data to discard irrelevant information.

Strong communication skills, particularly when dealing with business representatives and technical personnel, are essential.

The selected candidate will be responsible for producing system design specifications, detailed business requirement documents, and mapping documents that provide detailed cohort rules and individual field mappings.

This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with subject matter experts to gain a comprehensive understanding of the inputs, processing rules and outputs of existing systems.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need at least five (5) years previous experience working as a Data Analyst.

A tertiary qualification in a related field such as computer science, information technology, mathematics, statistics or economics is desirable.

You must have Baseline Clearance and be an Australian Citizen.

This role is open to ACT residents only.

About the Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
