About the Opportunity
The ACT Government's People and Capability Branch within the Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate is seeking a skilled work health and safety leader to join our Safety and Wellbeing team.
As Assistant Director, Work Health and Safety (WHS), you will support the administration and implementation of our corporate WHS management system, deliver wellbeing programs, and promote psychosocial safety in the workplace.
Main Responsibilities
- Investigate non-operational safety incidents
- Create and update policies and procedures
- Support WHS training and coordinate WHS Committees
About You
We are looking for a candidate with tertiary qualifications in work health and safety and/or risk management. Completed ICAM training and internal auditor certification are desirable.
