Job Description

Civmec is embarking on a strategic expansion and diversification journey, seeking experienced project delivery experts to lead and manage Civil and SMP construction projects. Our team of professionals oversees all aspects of a project from initial planning to final completion.

Responsibilities
  • Define project objectives, deliverables, and scope, implementing robust safety and quality management systems.
  • Create detailed plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Identify and submit variations, including cost and schedule impacts assessments.
  • Update and monitor project schedules, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Oversee efficient resource allocation, including materials, equipment, and personnel deployment.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks that could impact the project timeline or budget.
  • Evaluate project compliance with relevant legal, environmental, and safety regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in structural/mechanical engineering or construction management.
  • Sound knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and cost control tools.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Minimum 10 years' industry experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient knowledge in MS Office suite.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • A strong background in both disciplines and a proven track record of successful project delivery.
