The Position Overview

This role represents our company within an assigned territory, focusing on cultivating strong relationships with healthcare providers, positioning us as leaders in obesity care, and understanding local market needs to drive sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing marketing and sales strategies, selling and promoting our products, and leveraging their knowledge of the local healthcare landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate professional relationships with healthcare providers and position our company as a leader in obesity care.
  • Implement marketing and sales strategies to effectively sell and promote our products.
  • Understand local market and customer needs to maximize sales.
  • Maintain required activity records/reports and participate in relevant meetings and training programs.
  • Develop and maintain a mastery of product knowledge and consultative promotion techniques.
  • Educate healthcare professionals on obesity and our products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and/or Pharm D required.
  • 2+ years of pharmaceutical, medical, or healthcare experience required.
  • Intermediate computer skills required (Windows, Word, Excel); prior experience using sales data/call reporting software ideal.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to evaluate options and make decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Solid understanding of obesity disease state and our products needed.
