About the Role

The Financial Accountant supports the Finance Business Partner to ensure effective management of financial risks and control framework. The Financial Accountant is responsible for ensuring the Balance Sheet is calculated according to the relevant accounting standards, and that all internal and external reporting requirements are met (including accounting, taxation and any further compliance).

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist to ensure that month-end reporting timelines and standards are met.
  • Ensure Lease Accounting is completed in line with relevant standard.
  • Ensure the balance sheet is complete, accurate and reflective of the business and in line with both T2 and external requirements.
  • Ensure all indirect tax reporting is submitted by the due date.
  • Financial risks are proactively detected and addressed.
