About This Role

This position involves working as part of a hotel services team, where you will be responsible for various activities including food preparation and service, in-room dining, and maintaining cleanliness of the dining areas. Your key objectives will include preparing and serving food to residents, cleaning kitchen and dining room areas, adhering to strict hygiene and sanitation standards, and creating an enjoyable dining experience.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need 6 months of kitchen experience, preferably in the aged care sector. Strong workplace safety awareness, ability to follow set procedures, and good communication skills are also essential. You should be able to problem-solve, work with limited supervision, and think critically. Additionally, you must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be hardworking and flexible, and have good availability to cover shifts.
