About the Role

At a coal mining project in the Bowen Basin, we are looking for an experienced and safety-focused individual to join our team as a Tyre Fitter on a permanent full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work hands-on with some of the biggest equipment in mining.

The successful candidate will be responsible for removing and fitting rims and wheel assemblies on heavy earthmoving equipment, re-fitting and maintaining tyres to the highest safety standards, performing regular tyre pressure checks, adjustments and reports, and using technical manuals, bulletins and computer-based systems to guide their work.

About You

  • You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a tyre fitter (mining or heavy earthmoving preferred)
  • You will hold current AUR21920 Cert II in Automotive Tyre Servicing or AURKTJ011 & AURKTJ012
  • A HR driver's licence would be an advantage but is not essential
  • You will have solid post-trade experience in the mining, heavy earthmoving, or hydraulic excavator industries
  • You will have a proactive, safety-first attitude and strong teamwork skills
