As an Inventory Controller, you will play a crucial role in supporting our 3PL warehousing operation. Your focus will be on undertaking and coordinating activities to maintain optimal inventory management standards.
Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and coordinating inventory processes, systems and reporting
- Liaising with customers on inventory issues, reporting and adjustments
- Identifying discrepancies, conducting investigations and preparing reports
- Managing annual, cyclical and/or ad-hoc stocktaking processes
- Analysing inventory velocity to identify fast and slow moving stock, and making recommendations
- Planning for and implementing new inventory into the operation.
Requirements
We are seeking an experienced professional with:
- Proven experience in managing or coordinating inventory systems, procedures and practices
- Experience in managing or coordinating cyclical and annual stocktakes across a large SKU base
- Strong MS Excel skills to populate, manipulate and understand data
- Effective communication, problem solving and numeracy skills.
